Learn the basics of paddling with Dave!

Always remember to paddle with adult supervision if you are under the age of 18. Before you head out on the water make sure someone knows your route and when you will be back.

Paddling Essentials:

  • Properly sized paddle
  • Properly sized PFD with whistle
  • Bailer
  • Throw bag with 15m of floating rope
  • Water bottle
  • Compass
  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
  • Flashlight
  • Dry bag
  • Snacks
